New Paddler's Guide from IVRC&D
Iowa Valley Resource Conservation and Development is proud to announce the release of a Paddler's Guide to the Iowa River Valley. Available for purchase now, the Paddler’s Guide: Iowa River Valley Water Trail is a laminated reference for traversing the eastern segment of the Iowa River. The guide includes a comprehensive beautiful map of the Iowa River from McCoy Landing in Tama County to River Junction Access in Johnson County, detailing access points, ramp locations, portage points, and water hazards. The guide also includes information on local businesses, roads, highways, towns and cities, as well as descriptions of suggested itineraries and points of interest. The Guide is the first in a series of three guidebooks being produced by the Iowa Valley RC&D. Watch the KCRG TV9 Coverage of the Guide
